All of my work is done in black ink on white paper. Original Pet Portraits: My original pet portraits come in two sizes: Small (5” x 7”) and Large (8” x 10”). Prices vary according to size and the amount of detail in the drawing. Each portrait is double-matted (white on black and acid free) for standard 8” x 10” or 11” x 14” frames. You must purchase your own frame. Each portrait comes with a set of ten greeting cards featuring your pet on the front and your pet’s name on the back. Cards are blank inside, printed on white card stock, and with white A-2 envelopes. They come in a clear, plastic box. You may also purchase matted prints (copies) of your pet’s portrait. Greeting Cards: Any of the images you see on this website are available as greeting cards. They are available in boxed sets of ten cards ($12.50). You may order mixed sets of ten cards that feature ten different dogs (retrievers, herders, lap dogs, couch potatoes), cats, and/or farm animals. I’m happy to make up special boxed sets Calendars: Each year I choose the best of the portraits I’ve drawn and create 12-month calendars. If your pet is chosen as a PenPets Pin-Up, you will receive a complimentary copy of that year’s calendar. For 2008 I’ve created “Dog Days 2008” a monthly calendar that is pocket/pocketbook size or suitable for hanging on your wall ($10.00). I’ve also created “Dog Days Birthday Calendar,” a permanent monthly reminder of important dates ($12.95). Children’s Book: In March 2007 I self-published a children’s book, “How to Catch a Lobster” and it’s been selling briskly up and down the coast of Maine ever since. It chronicles a memorable day of lobster fishing on a real Maine lobster boat and features crabs, eels, sculpins, sea stars, seaweed, and finally lobsters. I wrote it for children, but it’s also suitable for curious adults. Paperback, 9” X 7”, 30 pages, full- color photographs, and text. ($12.95).
